Registering Your 2025 Annual Pass

Whether you purchased your pass online or at a Utah State Park, the registration process is now the same. Follow the steps below to activate your pass:

Step 1: Scan the QR Code

• Locate the QR Code on the back of your annual pass.
• Use your smartphone camera or a QR code scanner app to scan it. This will take you to the registration page.

Step 2: Enter the 3-Letter Code from Your Sticker

• Your pass includes a unique 3-letter code printed on the sticker.
• If you purchased your pass online, this sticker should have arrived with your pass in the mail.
• If you purchased your pass at a park, the sticker should have been provided at the time of purchase.
• Enter the 3-letter code when prompted during registration.

Step 3: Enter Your Personal Information

• Complete the required fields:
  • First and Last Name
  • Your License Plate Number

Step 4: Download the Utah State Parks App

Download the Utah State Parks app on the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). Go to parkspass.utah.gov/app to download the app. 

Step 5: Add Your Pass to the App

1. Open the Utah State Parks App.
2. Click on "ADD PASS".
3. Follow the steps and fill out your information.

Troubleshooting Tips

• If you encounter any errors during the process, try completely closing the app and reopening it.
• Ensure the 3-letter code and license plate number are entered correctly.
